Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Free Trial

Uprity offers a 14-day free trial at no cost. No payment method is required to start your trial.

Your trial automatically expires after 14 days unless you add a payment method to upgrade to a paid plan. You will not be charged until you explicitly upgrade.

3. Refund Policy

No refunds after trial — cancel anytime, access until period end

This means:

  • Once your free trial expires and you are charged for the first paid period, no refunds will be issued
  • Subscriptions renew automatically; you are responsible for cancelling before the renewal date if you do not wish to be charged
  • Access to your account and data continues until the end of the current paid period, even after cancellation

4. Exceptions (Refundable Situations)

Refunds may be issued in the following limited circumstances:

  • Duplicate charges: If you are charged twice for the same period, we will refund the duplicate charge
  • Billing errors: If there is a clear error in your invoice, we will correct it and issue a refund or credit as appropriate
  • Statutory rights: Where applicable law grants you cooling-off rights (e.g., some jurisdictions), those rights apply only if the service has not yet commenced. Since our service is digital and commences upon purchase, statutory cooling-off rights do not apply after upgrade
  • Service non-performance: If we fail to provide the Service for more than 15 consecutive days due to our fault, contact billing@uprity.com to discuss options

5. How to Cancel Your Subscription

You can cancel your subscription anytime, in-app or by email:

In-App Cancellation (Recommended):

  3. Click "Cancel Subscription"
  4. Confirm your cancellation

6. What Happens After Cancellation

When you cancel your subscription:

  • Your access continues until the end of the current billing period (you will not be charged again)
  • After the billing period ends, your account is downgraded to Trial mode (limited features)
  • Your data is retained for 30 days after account downgrade, then automatically deleted
  • You can reactivate your account by upgrading again, but past data cannot be recovered

7. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks

If you dispute a charge through your bank or payment provider, we reserve the right to:

  • Suspend your account immediately
  • Recover chargeback fees from you
  • Terminate your subscription

Please contact us first at billing@uprity.com to resolve billing disputes. We will work with you in good faith.

8. How to Report a Billing Issue

If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and include the invoice or transaction reference. We review duplicate charges, billing errors, and other limited exceptions case by case:

Email: billing@uprity.com

Include:

  • Your account email
  • Transaction/invoice reference number
  • The reason for your refund request

We will respond within 5 business days. If a refund or credit is approved, it is processed to your original payment method or issued as a credit note where required.
